From 1978 to 1995, La Moye hosted the ICL Jersey Open, with winners including our very own Legend, Ian Woosnam. Thanks to renowned designers including James Braid and Henry Cotton, aswell as Mother Nature, the course is a classic. From its birth in 1902, the course and club have moved with the times and the addition of a new clubhouse in 2018 demonstrates La Moye’s evolution.
A combination of links-style terrain and parkland features, the course sits 250 feet above the sea, looking out across the Atlantic to one of Jersey’s famous landmarks, La Rocco Tower. To the right is St Ouen’s Bay, whilst to the left is Corbière lighthouse.
Tight and undulating fairways challenge your shot selection and the well-conditioned greens have to be managed carefully considering their high up perch. You can benefit from the knowledge of a professional by joining the Pro Am. Or, the 3-day Alliance Pro Am will give you an insight into how the pros respect and plan for a golf course of this stature in tournament conditions.
