During the 1980s and 1990s, Ian ‘Woosie’ Woosnam was a name never far away from the top of the leaderboard. A winner on both the PGA and European Tours, the highlight of his career was undoubtedly his Masters’ triumph in 1991.

Paul Lawrie is the 1999 Open Champion. Lawrie started the day ten shots back and a brilliant 66 followed by victory in a four-hole play-off Lawrie his first Major and Scotland’s first Open Champion on home soil since James Braid won at St Andrews in 1910.

Paul McGinley is a Legends Tour ambassador in 2024. He is one of Europe’s best-known golfers and now also a regular face on TV screens as a pundit on both sides of the Atlantic.
