Markus Brier made an outstanding start to his 2025 campaign on the Legends Tour, highlighted by a commanding victory at the inaugural Black Desert NI Legends (−12) at Galgorm, his first senior win since 2021. He also recorded a top-20 finish at the Grass & Co English Legends, a top-25 at the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship, a mid-pack finish at the European Legends Cup
The Austrian was the first to win on the DP World Tour when he took his home Open at his home club in Vienna in 2006! It was the first time the BA-CA Golf Open had been on the Tour’s schedule in a decade add made a hat-trick for Brier who also won the event in 2002 and 2004 on the Challenge Tour. Went on to win the 2007 Volvo China Open and loves to go skiing when not playing golf.
