Home favourite Stephen Gallacher produced the round of the championship on Sunday. He started ten shots back, fired an eight-under 62 that included an outward nine of just 29, and surged into fifth, four shots behind champion Jerry Kelly. It was a fitting week for the Ryder Cup star, who made his professional debut at Gleneagles and holds a deep affinity with the venue. Elsewhere, 2025 Rookie of the Year Darren Fichardt shared second, while Emanuele Canonica closed with a 65 to finish tied seventh.
