The Farmfoods European Senior Masters returns in 2021 to Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club, a venue which has a rich history of hosting European Tour-sanctioned events.

A host of the British Masters and English Open during the 1990s and 2000s, it is a popular venue amongst our Legends and spectators alike, with drama assured on the thrilling finishing stretch of the Arden Course.

Welshman Stephen Dodd lifted the title at the first edition of the Farmfoods European Senior Masters in 2017, holing a 40-foot birdie putt on the par three 18th hole to finish one stroke ahead of that year’s John Jacobs Trophy winner Clark Dennis and 2014 Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley.

The following year, Spaniard Santiago Luna secured his fourth Legends Tour title as he finished two shots clear of Markus Brier and Peter Wilson – a victory made more special as his wife Mamen was by his side as caddie during the week.

One year on from his over-50s debut at the same event, Thomas Levet won his maiden Legends Tour title as Brier again finished as runner-up. Levet started the final round one stroke behind two-time Senior Major Champion Paul Broadhurst, but quickly made ground with four birdies before the turn and came home in level par to win his first over-50s title.
