Robert Coles won his maiden Legends Tour title at Trump International Golf Links in August 2024.

The Englishman won the Tour’s flagship event for his breakthrough – claiming the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship by one shot from Paul Lawrie in Aberdeenshire.
It meant that he completed a memorable PGA double as he added the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship to the Senior PGA Professional Championship title he won back in May.
Coles began life on the Legends Tour in 2022.
He is a three-time winner on the Challenge Tour and played in 390 events on the DP World Tour between 1996 and 2017, going close to a win in the 2011 Avantha Masters before losing out to SSP Chowrasia.
The Englishman has played for Great Britain & Ireland twice in the PGA Cup, winning it in 2009. Financed his early golf career by working on his father’s Petticoat Lane market stall.
