The Fijian placed eighth at the Kitchenaid Senior PGA Championship, 3rd in the Senior Open at Royal Porthcawl and was runner-up a week later at the JCB Championship.
In an impressive career he won the PGA Championship in 1998 and 2004, adding a green jacket and Masters title in 2000.
Having turned 50 Vijay started life on the PGA Champions Tour in 2013 and has won five times, including a Senior Major title at the 2018 Players Championship.
Singh won 13 times on the DP World Tour and was named Player of the Year in 2004, while on the PGA Tour he’s won 34 tournaments, three Order of Merit titles, the FedEx Cup, the 1993 Rookie of the Year and the 2004 Player of the Year.
He played in the Presidents Cup eight times from 1994 to 2009 and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2005.
