Simon Griffiths won the opening tournament of the Legends Tour 2025 season

Simon got his 2025 season off to the perfect start, winning the Staysure Marbella Legends by two shots to win his 2nd tournament in four starts.
 
In 2024, he capped a brilliant first year on the Legends Tour by winning Barry Lane Rookie of the Year. On top of his victory at the Farmfoods European Senior Masters, Simon was runner-up at the season ending MCB Tour Championship in Mauritius.In July, Griffiths took a two-shot lead into the final round of the Reignwood Legends Championship in China after an impressive second-round 66. However, he did not secure the win in the final round.
 
Griffiths made his Legends Tour debut in 2023 on limited appearances after he finished in a tie for 6th at Q-school, missing out by one place and two shots! He would go on to place 18th in his first event, the Riegler & Partner Legends.
 
He was runner-up in the 2008 Volvo China Open for his best result on the DP World Tour, while he won the Sunningdale foursomes in both 2003 and 2004 alongside Ross Fisher.
