Henrik Stenson made his Staysure Legends Tour debut in 2026

Henrik Stenson is a Swedish professional golfer born on 5 April 1976 in Gothenburg. He turned professional in 1998 and earned his European Tour card in 2000 after topping the Challenge Tour rankings. Nicknamed “The Iceman” for his cool temperament, Stenson climbed to a career-high world ranking of number two in 2014.
His career highlight came at Royal Troon in 2016, where a final-round 63 saw off Phil Mickelson to claim the Open Championship. It was the lowest winning total in major championship history and made him the first Swedish man to win a major. That same summer he took silver at the Rio Olympics. In 2013 he became the first player to win both the FedEx Cup and the Race to Dubai in a single season. A five-time Ryder Cup player, he has 22 professional wins worldwide.
