David Drysdale Wins Vattanac Legends Championship

David Drysdale won the Vattanac Legends Championship after a nail-biting final round in Cambodia, shooting a magnificent closing 66 to claim an emotional first win on the Legends Tour. He endured a nerve-wracking wait to see if his 19-year wait for a win – spanning 576 DP World Tour and 13 Legends Tour events had come to an end.
Drysdale previously qualified for the European Tour in 2001, 2006 and 2007 through q-school, in addition to graduating directly from the Challenge Tour in 2004, when he finished 12th on the end of season rankings, largely thanks to a sudden death playoff victory over Mattias Eliasson at the Bouygues Telecom Grand Final. David has won twice on the Challenge Tour.
