Started playing golf at the age of 12 at Ashford Golf Club, in Kent. Turned professional in 1996, and in 2008 he claimed his highest European Tour finish with third place in the Inteco Russian Open Golf Championship, one of two top fives of the season. It was the third successive season he had retained his playing privileges on The European Tour. He has also won twice on the Challenge
