Phillip Archer joined the Legends Tour in 2022 and has proven to be one of its most consistent performers with ten top ten finishes in his first two seasons.

He was runner-up at the 2022 WINSTONgolf Senior Open, losing a play-off against Richard Green at the 5th extra hole and was runner-up in the same event a year later as he finished one shot shy of the winner, Scott Hend.
A three-time winner on the Challenge Tour, including the 2004 Rolex Trophy, 2011 Allianz Open Cotes D’Armor and the 2012 Colombia Classic.
Archer played 247 events on the DP World Tour over a 15 year span and was a runner-up on three occasions.
In 2025, Archer continued to showcase his skills on the senior circuit. At the Senior PGA Championship held at Congressional Country Club, he secured a T21 finish with rounds of 71-69-71-77, totaling an even-par 288. Archer also participated in the Swiss Seniors Open, where he finished 14th with a score of -8, and in the Reignwood Legends Championship in China, where he placed 44th with a score of +9.
