2017 would see him win twice, taking the Swiss Seniors Open and then the Travis Perkins Masters to add to his earlier titles of the 2014 French Riviera Masters and the 2013 Wales Senior Open.
Golding appeared in 343 tournaments on the DP World Tour from 1991 to 2012, with his only victory coming in the 2003 Open de France.
The Englishman is in a select group of players to win on the Challenge Tour, DP World Tour and the Legends Tour.
As a youngster he played cricket for Middlesex Colts but chose a future in golf instead, turning pro in 1981.
