The Italian is a two-time winner on the Challenge Tour and spent his career between that circuit and the DP World Tour.
He topped the Challenge Tour rankings in 1997, the year when he won twice – at the Canarias Challenge and the Russian Open.
Michele is a coach for players in Italy at Golf Club Monticello and both his brothers have also involved in the sport, his elder brother
Andrea as a teaching pro and his younger brother Stefano featured on the Challenge Tour.
