The Swede ended his maiden campaign in 2022 placed 12th on the Order of Merit having shown some consistent performances and being runner-up at the Farmfoods European Senior Masters after losing a play-off with Paul Lawrie. He would improve season-on-season by ending 2023 ranked 7th on the Order of Merit. Once again he would go close to victory, finishing second at the WCM Legends Open de France behind Adilson da Silva. A 4th place at The Senior Open and two more top ten finishes made for an impressive season.

He was twice a winner on the DP World Tour claiming the 1997 Portuguese Open and the 2009 Castello Masters – he also won twice on the Challenge Tour.
In 2025, Jonzon continued to perform well on the senior circuit. He led the first round of the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship at Trump International Golf Club in Scotland with an impressive 70, despite challenging weather conditions. He finished the tournament in 24th place with a total score of 298 (+10).
