Ryder Cup star Jamie Donaldson is now a 2x winner on the Staysure Legends Tour after claiming the Champions UK plc Senior European Masters hosted by Peter Baker and the Staysure Marbella Legends 2026.
Playing in just his second tournament after turning 50 over the summer, the Welshman shot a superb closing 67 at La Manga Club in Murcia, Spain, to finish at -11 and edge out Mikael Lundberg, Thomas Gögele
and Van Phillips.
Will forever be remembered for claiming the winning point in Europe’s Ryder Cup victory at Gleneagles in 2014, sealing the all-important point with a precise wedge shot that was voted Shot of the Year.
That same year he finished a career-high fourth place in the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex.
