In 2026, Greg Owen added a second Staysure Legends Tour title to his roster, winning the Barbados Legends hosted by Ian Woosnam, the victory continues an excellent run of form for Owen, who claimed the MCB Mauritius Legends at the end of 2025 and arrived in Barbados fresh from a top 10 finish at last week’s Senior PGA Championship.
The Englishman played more than 200 events on the DP World Tour,
with just one victory – the 2003 British Masters coming in his 158th start.
He spent much of his time in the USA after gaining his PGA Tour card at the end of 2004 and came close to winning the 2006 Bay Hill Invitational where he led by a single shot with two holes to play.He would go on to pick up a win on the Korn Ferry Tour though in 2014 with the United Leasing Championship title.
Was Nottinghamshire’s number one ranked tennis player in 1985 at the age of 13, but ultimately chose a career in golf – turning pro in 1992.
