Spent 20 years on the Asian Tour before returning to coach at Yarra Yarra Golf Club in Melbourne. Inspired to try out the Legends Tour by his friend and compatriot Tim Elliott, Rick Gibson of Canada, as well as his former college friend and three-time winner on the Tour, American Tim Thelen. Joyner is a regular starter and winner on the PGA of Australia tour.
