The 2023 wapp Celebrity Series Grand Final will be contested by a plethora of sporting and TV personalities prior to the MCB Tour Championship, 6 – 7th December at Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius.
Qualifiers including the winners of the year’s first three events plus the top-two from the 2023 wapp Celebrity Series Order of Merit and a host of invited.
Firm pre-tournament favourite and winner of two wapp Celebrity Series events this season at the Jersey Legends & Staysure PGA Seniors Championship, Brian McFadden, of Westlife fame, will lead the field in Mauritius.
Joining Brian will be former rugby and cricket player and winner of the wapp Celebrity Series event at the Irish Legends, Liam Botham.
Also qualified are legendary striker Teddy Sheringham, England cricketer James Anderson, ex-Chelsea striker Gianfranco Zola, 996 Formula One World Champion Damon Hill and Rudimental headliner, DJ Locksmith.
Defending champion, ex-Celtic goalkeeper, Packie Bonner will be looking to defend his title after securing £25,000 for his chosen charity last year, beating Hill by a single point in the Celebrity Series Grand Final at the MCB Tour Championship Seychelles.
