The Legends Tour Qualifying School returns for 2025 with an exciting new opportunity for aspiring over-50 professionals to join the Legends Tour. This year, we have a new Ranked Membership Category (Category 10), designed to give participants an additional pathway to Legends Tour membership.
Introducing Category 10 Membership
The 2025 season introduces Category 10, and with it further opportunity to gain conditional status on the Legends Tour. Key points for this new membership category are below:
- Eligibility: Players who make the Final Stage cut at Q School and finish in positions 6-20 will qualify for Category 10 membership.
- Path to the Final Round: Any player within 8 shots of 5th place after 54 holes of Final Stage Qualifying will advance to the final round, increasing opportunities to secure Category 10 status.
- Membership Benefits: Members of Category 10 can take up Ranked Membership for the 2025 season, unlocking access to unlimited tournament invites. Non-members remain restricted to a maximum of three invites.
- Previous Starts: Members of Category 10 would have had 2 starts at Legends Tour events in 2024 (Zambia Legends and HSBC India Legends Championship).
- Progression Opportunity: Competing in these events enables players to earn points on the Order of Merit, potentially elevating them to Category 9 status for the 2026 season.
Key Dates
- First Stage Qualifying: Begins January 13, 2025, with rounds played across Gloria’s Old and New Courses.
- Final Stage Qualifying: January 17-20, 2025, exclusively on Gloria’s New Course. Final Stage consists of 72 holes of stroke play, with a 54-hole cut.
- Top Five Cards: The top five players at Final Stage will earn full playing rights for the 2025 Legends Tour season.

- Entry Deadline: Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12:00 Noon (UK time).
- Entry Fee: £800.00 (includes Stage 1 and/or Finals).
